
Jonah Mensch - Co-Chair
(he/him) is a junior from Beacon, New York studying Theatre and Human Communication Sciences. After contributing to the Waa-Mu legacy in a small way his freshman year, Jonah served on the Waa-Mu executive board as Student Engagement Director and later performed in the 94th Annual Waa-Mu Show Arch Madness. With experience in performance, writing, composition, directing, and arranging, Jonah is committed to persevering the tradition of Waa-Mu at Northwestern.

Ethan Diaz - Co-Chair
is a junior from Orange County, California who has been performing in theater since second grade. You may have seen him as Nolan in Carrie, the Mad Hatter in Alice by Heart, Snail in A Year with Frog and Toad, or as Dominic and Stevie in The 94th Annual Waa-Mu Show: Arch Madness. He first got involved with Waa-Mu through a miscast cabaret in the spring of his freshman year. Ethan is the co-president of The Undertones and is looking forward to being a Co-Chair of the Waa-Mu Student Executive Board this year.

Kate McCracken - Events Co-Chair
(she/her) is a theatre major at Northwestern University with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She grew up performing around Charlotte, NC and is most proud of winning the Blumey Award for Best Actress in 2021 and 2022, advancing to the Jimmy Awards both years. She has performed in the last two Waa-Mu shows and is excited to work with her peers and mentors to keep this wonderful legacy alive.

Hannah Otness - Business Chair
is a junior majoring in Economics and Theatre with a minor in Business Institutions. She was part of her first Waa-Mu show last year and fell in love with the collaborative process. Hannah is thrilled to join the executive board as the business chair and looks forward to helping shape the future of the Waa-Mu Show.

Sarah Olson - Writing Team Chair
is a senior from Winnetka, IL, pursuing a double major in Biological Sciences and Theatre. Her dual passions for writing music and performing in theatre led her to discover the Waa-Mu organization, which has quickly become a highlight of her Northwestern career. She first became involved last year as a writer, lyricist, and actor, and is thrilled to now take on the role of writing coordinator. She looks forward to watching this year’s show come to life is committed to supporting the Waa-Mu tradition for years to come.

Lucy Winzenried - Campus Outreach/Development Chair
is a third-year Theatre Major/Dance Minor from Los Angeles. She is thrilled to be the Campus Outreach/Dev. Chair alongside such a passionate, kind, talented, and hardworking team to help bring Waa-Mu to life this year. Go Cats!!

Hillary Altes - Fundraising Chair
is a third year Theatre and Economics double major. Within theatre, her main focuses are producing and directing. She also enjoys working in fundraising and development, whether that be for theatre or nonprofit organizations. She's very excited to be Waa-Mu's Fundraising Director, as she'll be able to contribute to one of Northwestern Theatre's longest-standing traditions and support new work from an administrative role.

Thomas Allen - Writing Team Chair
is a second-year dual degree student pursuing a BS in Environmental Engineering and a BA in General Music. He got involved last year writing for the 94th Annual Waa-Mu show and is excited to help facilitate the process for future writers! Outside of Waa-Mu, Thomas is also involved in a cappella, improv, and music-directing student-produced theater on campus.

Arjun Shah - Community Outreach/Development Chair
(he/him) is a theatre and cognitive science major in the class of 2028. He participated in writing and performing in the 94th annual Waa-Mu show and is now excited to join the team as the Director of Outreach. Arjun enjoys musical theatre performance, playwriting, and directing and hopes to pursue more of it in the future through Waa-Mu. He is also committed to working towards making Waa-Mu a diverse and accessible environment for all students on campus!

Ludmila Stoffel - DEI Chair
(she/her) is a Junior Theatre and Dance student from Córdoba, Argentina. Some Northwestern credits include: Comedy of Errors (Courtesan), Bird Rock (Elsie), Alice By Heart (Associate Choreographer), Jazz Nutcracker 2024 (Co-producer and Dancer), and Fly Away Home (Lupe). In addition to joining the Waa-Mu team, she is an executive member of Arts Alliance, Seesaw Theatre, STUCO, and Dolphin Show.

Shea Frimmer - Website Chair
(they/she) is beyond thrilled to be a member of this year's executive board after joining the Waa-Mu family as an orchestrator last year. Elsewhere on campus Shea is a director and music director, assistant technical director for Purple Crayon Players, and a member of Sig O A Capella. As a director, they specialize in new work and are thrilled to continue that passion by contributing to the ongoing life of the incredible tradition that is The Waa-Mu Show!

Greg Dempsey
(he/him) is a senior from Grafton, WI studying Neuroscience and Music Composition, and he is galvanized to make his last Waa-Mu the best one yet! Greg orchestrated for the last two Waa-Mu shows, he served as Music Coordinator last year, and he is eager to play a larger part in writing the show this year. Outside of Waa-Mu, Greg plays trumpet for Northwestern musicals, NUMB, and NUCB, and he sings with his barbershop quartet, 3 Chips, 1 Crisp. He even does both in Mariachi NU (Northwestern's only music group to have performed at Lollapalooza)!

Bryson Shaub - Marketing Chair
is an actor and singer from Port Washington, New York. He is majoring in Theatre with minors in Data Science and Business Institutions. He enjoys all types of art, including drawing, painting, and creating stained glass. Also an avid Mets fan.

Eva Burkholder - Accessibility Chair
is a junior Dance, International Studies, and Theatre student from Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Northwestern show credits: The 94th Annual Waa-Mu Show: Arch Madness (Assistant Director and Assistant Choreographer), How To Know The Wildflowers: A Map (Prairie), Fly Away Home (Director), Carrie (Co-Producer), Danceworks 2024: Emergence (Performer), NMP Fall Dance Concert (Co-Producer), 10-Minute Play Festival (Lucy Jane). On campus, she is the Stage Management Chair of Arts Alliance and a member of Steam Heat Dance Company. She has loved creating new work like Waa-Mu and is excited to help it live on!

Hannah Gill - Sales and Promotion Chair
