What is the Waa-Mu Show Executive Board?

Starting fall quarter, the Waa-Mu Show Executive Board will meet once a week to fundraise, market, and produce The Waa-Mu Show! We plan events both on Northwestern campus and within the Evanston community to promote this year’s show and engage new audience members. The Executive Board is a collaborative production process and learning environment -- we are happy to welcome experienced arts administrators as well as people who are excited about learning new skills.

How is the Executive Board organized?

Starting this year, the Waa-Mu Show Executive Board will be divided into four subcommittees, each reporting directly to one of the four Co-Chairs. Thus, all Waa-Mu Exec members sit both on Waa-Mu Exec as a whole as well as on their respective committees. The goal of subdivision is two-fold: first, to make sure your time is valued and used as efficiently as possible; second, to allow exec members to be proactive, deliberate, and accountable for the meaningful work they provide as a member of our organization. The Waa-Mu Show is committed to the personal and professional growth of its members, and sees peer mentorship in smaller group settings as the strongest way to preserve our organization's value as a community in which students learn and grow.

Members are also expected to publicize Waa-Mu events on social media. Exec Board members are welcome to be a part of all our social programming in the fall, winter, and spring.
